EOI is the winner of the BioMed company consest of Leader and the BioExecutive Forum.
The contest judges were: Chairman of the Committee Mr. Israel Makov – Chairman of Given Imaging, Chairman of Netafim, Chairman of Bio-light and former president and CEO Of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, Mrs. Elka Nir – Managing Partner at Giza venture fund, Mr. Raveh Gil Mor – Member of the executing committee at the BioExecutive Forum and Mr. Ranan Cohen Orgad – CEO of Leader Public Offering.
Mrs. Nir mentioned on behalf of the judges: “We have chosen Expanding Orthopedics primarily because of its innovative product and its advanced market stage. The company received a CE mark and its products are being sold and used in surgeries in Europe and Israel.”

EOI signs distribution agreement with Trimaco, a leading Israeli medical device distributor serving all the major medical centers in Israel.
EOI starts surgeries in Germany. XPED Pedicle Screw System was selected by Stauferklinikum, teaching hospital of the University of Ulm, for various indications of spinal fusion surgery.
EOI's XPED Pedicle Screw System is in clinical use at Assuta, Israel's largest private hospital.

EOI receives CE Mark on the XPED Pedicle Screw System following an ISO 13485:2003 certification for the company's quality management system.
